Defend the Position!

Introducing "Defense the Position!" this is my prototype for a Tower Defense Game inspired in games like "Bloons TD Battles" and "Kingdom Rush". This was my first prototype in Unity and I wanted to put it here to show that I can work well with other engine. In this game the player needs to survive different hords of enemies and deploy different structures in order to destroy the enemies ahead. In this project I wanted to create all by myself so I created the animations, the structures and also the functionality.

  • Designed and built the level of the game in-engine.

  • Designed all the structures and created the basic template for all the game.

  • Designed the turrets and their variations.

  • Designed the different places where you can place a turret.

  • Designed the limitations to the player when creating an object.

  • Designed the different functionality of the turrets.

  • Created a parent enemy that can has the funcionality to being divided, and everytime you hit an enemy if has more HP it splits in two.

  • Create Upgrades into the turrets, taken in count their speed, their damage and their DPS.

  • Modified the balance between the resources and their management.

  • Incrementing the resources when reaching a milestone.

  • Created some mechanics when spawning enemies each wave, and making it randomly and powerfull each wave.

  • Creating a final stage wich increases the difficulty and has different outcomes.
